Meet Noodles…
Noodles is an AKC full parti female and a true sweetheart. She is the daughter of Addy Woo and a complete cuddle bug. When she is not outside playing in the yard with Iggy, her bestie, she is my shadow indoors. Noodles or Nood-a-Bees, as I call her around the house was a dream to potty train and she gets along with everyone. Those are 2 qualities that rank high in my book. I had planned on selling her last summer, but she has such a great temperament and is such a good listener, I decided to keep her. I taught her how to fold the mat over once she has gone potty; this way she does not track all over the house. Noodles now teaches ALL of her puppies this same little trick.
Incidentally, I have taught about half the yorkie nerds this trick. Some of them caught on in 20 minutes….others took longer.
Noodles has a thick coat. In some of her litters the puppies have had what is called a “broken coat.” This coat can look a little unkept and feels more coarse to the touch when they are puppies. Once the adult coat comes in at 16 weeks, it completely goes away.
