From time to time I will have adults that are not fit for my breeding program or are ready to be retired and I must find the very best home for those fur babies…

If you are looking for a dog that is perfect and NEVER has any potty accidents or behaviors issues all, then I highly suggest you NOT get a yorkie…or a dog, at all for that matter. I get asked all of the time, if my dogs/ puppies are potty trained. The answer is YES…But accidents happen, it is part of life with a yorkie. Even an adult dog that NEVER has an accident can have an off day. Please know, that adopting an adult dog will require your patience. PEROID.

If you are not willing to work with the dog on potty training, obedience commands, socialization to your lifestyle, etc. then I would encourage you to NOT be considered for one of my adult dogs. If you are considered for a Southern Yorkies adult dog, then I ask that you dedicate at least ONE MONTH to making it work. If after one month, you are not able to care for the dog or if it is not a good fit, then he/she may be returned to me with no questions asked. Your adoption fee will NOT be refunded. Under NO circumstance should the dog be taken to the pound or shelter.

I will give you as much information as I can about the adult dog’s: health, temperament, quirks, likes and dislikes and match him/her with the best living environment for you both. I am requesting the same from you. Please be honest in your application and give me as much information as possible. It is in EVERYONE’S best interest to find a suitable home that works for all involved.

Puppies and Adult dogs are shown at the 1415 3rd Ave, Conway, SC 29526 location on SATURDAY 9:00AM-4:00PM, by appointment only. If your application is a match, then I will contact you to set up a time to meet at the before mentioned location. I ONLY meet prospective yorkie parents at this location. I am sorry, but due to travel costs involved and safety issues I am NOT able to meet you “halfway” or any other location, including your home. Thank you for understanding. Discounted Puppies & Adult Dogs may NOT board or travel via lap nanny. The canine MUST be picked up in person on the next consecutive weekend. No additional discounts may be applied. Payment Plans are not accepted.

Retired Adults are offered to those that have purchased puppies from me first. If there aren’t any previous puppy owners that wish to adopt the dog, the adult is then offered to Friends and Family. It is only then that I offer my retired yorkies to the general public if NO ONE else has expressed an interest.

Retired Yorkies are ALWAYS sold with a fee, ranging from $500.00-2,500 (NONE ARE FREE) I only want to know that my retired fur babies are going to the VERY best homes, so the more information you give me, the better!

Typically, I sell my adults with NO papers. If a dog is sold with full AKC rights it will be stated on his/her post. They are current on heart worm medication, flea/tick medication, rabies/canine vaccines and are microchipped. The new owner is responsible for spay/ neuter and dental care. Veterinarian and Character References and In-Person Pick-Up is Required for each canine.

To be eligible for a retired Southern Yorkies dog, a few things are REQUIRED: Veterinarian Reference, Fenced in Backyard, Emergency Plan for Hurricanes, Flood, Tornado, etc, Adoption Fee of $500-$2,500

Adopting an ADULT yorkie is a serious responsibility. A dog that you purchase will likely be a part of your family for the next 10-20 years. A dog makes considerable demands on your time and resources. As an ADULT dog owner, you will need to spend time training, socializing, grooming, feeding, scooping poop, exercising and playing with your puppy/dog daily. This is in addition to medical care, vaccinations, and vacation boarding fees. ARE YOU PREPARED TO ACCEPT THE PERSONAL AND FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY OF OWNING A DOG? *

I understand that Southern Yorkies will NOT bring a dog/ puppy to your home OR meet you "half-way." You are required to meet at the designated public location of: 1415 3rd Ave, Conway, SC 29526 to pick up a dog. *
