Puppy Health Guarantee
Once you have picked up your little one, there are a few things I am going to need you to do… OF COURSE, I want you to spoil the lil squirt, but there are a few other necessary items that are required.
1.) WORMING: I send each puppy home with a worming treatment. This oral medication is given daily for 7 consecutive days. The medication is metronidazole; it is very oily and bitter tasting. Most puppies do not like it, but it is a necessary evil for those who run and play through their own feces. You will administer 1 cc per day for 7 days. (I usually start the treatment a few days before the puppy is picked up so you will have less days for treatment.)
2.) WELLNESS EXAM: You must have your Vet examine the puppy within 5 BUSINESS DAYS. Most of the time, your puppy is NOT due for any vaccines, etc. I just want your Vet to confirm the findings of my Vet, if any. Then, you must send me a copy of the Wellness Exam via USPS. Digital copies sent via email or text are NOT accepted. Please mail to: Southern Yorkies 1415 3rd Ave Suite 102, Conway, SC 29526.
3.) REVIEW: A lot of work, time, love, money and energy goes into each puppy. I truly love the yorkshire terrier breed; I hope it shows! I am asking that you please let others know about me and my yorkie puppies with a Google Business Review and Facebook Review.
4.) Once you have completed all 3 items listed above, this activates the 1 Year Congenial Health Guarantee AND also makes you eligible for the DIAMOND MEMBERSHIP. This level of membership is by invitation only.
Puppy CKC Registration Papers
I would be glad to send you the dog registration paperwork after you have forwarded documentation of spay/ neuter. If you choose NOT to have the sterile surgery for your puppy- then NO registration will be forwarded. Most of my adult dogs are dual registered both AKC and CKC. Adults with Merle markings are only registered CKC, as AKC does not recognize this coat color yet. No matter what dog registry the parents hold, ONLY CKC Registration will be forwarded to the new owner.
STEP ONE: Scan in the various documents from the spay/neuter surgery in PDF format. In addition to sending a copy of the sterilization surgery from your Vet, also include a copy of the AT A GLANCE PUPPY DATA SHEET. This is the first document in your notebook that was issued when you picked up your puppy. You may download the PDF file below to refresh your memory. The reserve side is the one with all of the information on it that I need to file for the litter registry.
STEP TWO: Send me an email (southernyorkies@gmail.com) requesting the password for the locked page to upload your documents to the site. I do not accept documents sent via Email attachments OR text messages.
STEP THREE: Once you have at the password, complete the quick form, upload the various files, including the At A Glance Puppy Data Sheet.
STEP FOUR: Mail the spay/neuter surgery documentation and the At a Glance Puppy Data Sheet to: Southern Yorkies 1415 3rd Ave Suite 102, Conway, SC 29526. Once I receive the HARD COPY of the paperwork, CKC Papers will be mailed via USPS. I will send you an email alerting you they are on the way. CKC Papers will NOT be sent if only the digital copy is sent. Should you have any questions, let me know.
