I woke up with a horrible migraine headache and had to reschedule the puppy’s appointments. I have listed the updated appointments below. A LOT of leg work and logistics go on behind the scene in preparation for getting your puppy ready for pick up. Because there are certain things that have to happen in a certain sequence, THIS is why I am VERY strict on puppy pick up day and times…
MEDICAL
All Puppies are sent home with worming medication. This is done as a precaution. Puppies have a tendency to get stressed when they leave me and go to their new home. All puppies are sold current on vaccines and worming medication. I also have my Vet complete a full spectrum fecal test and microchip each puppy. The new owner gets copies of all health documentation.
GROOMING
My groomer comes to my house every Monday. She grooms all of my dogs and puppies right before they leave. I prefer for puppies to see the Vet BEFORE being groomed, bur sometimes this just isn’t possible due to scheduling. She also completes a Puppy Report Card. This lets you know what areas your puppy needs to work on…cause grooming is just part of life as a yorkie.
BOUNCIE PUPPIES: 2nd Appointment- FRIDAY (12/3/22) 11:30AM, GROOMING 5:30PM. Puppies to New Homes!
BOUNCIE Pups are doing awesome. ZERO issues. None. They are eating solid food and having solid stools. They have not soiled their bed in weeks and ALL of them have been consistently going potty on the washable mat.
NOODLES PUPPIES: 1st Appointment- MONDAY (12/5/22) 10:15AM. Grooming will be scheduled when it is closer to puppy pick up.
One of the puppies, I think PENNE, taught the others how much fun it is to eat poop. All of the puppies in this litter now have loose stool. I have been deworming them DAILY, which they hate. Yes, this is gross. This is just a puppy thing, they usually grow out of it with time. Other than eating poop, this litter is doing great.
LADY BUG PUPPIES: 1st Appointment- WEDNESDAY (12/7/22) 9:00AM, GROOMING will either be FRIDAY afternoon or MONDAY (12/5/22)
Lady Bug was completely removed from her puppies on Sunday night. Today is now Wednesday and all of the puppies are eating hard kibble and having solid poops. These little guys are now coming into their own personalities and I love it! I put a toy box full of toys in there for them and they this that is AWESOME! Because the little ones are now eating hard kibble without hesitation, I am confident the Vet will release them for their new homes on their scheduled departure date.
