Crazy Hair…Don’t Care.

October 13, 2020: A few of you have reached out inquiring as to when I will allow those on the Puppy List to CALL DIBS on Chicpea, Cricket, and Boo’s babies. Most of these little guys are charting VERY small and I want to give them a little longer, so I can give you a more accurate adult weight and better inform you of their personalities. For Lady Bug’s litter, I allowed puppy peeps CALL DIBS at 5 weeks. Most of her litter is charting TOY; this is not the case for the other 3 litters. I will likely allow those on the Puppy Waiting list to make their puppy selection when the puppies are between 6-7 weeks, which is Oct 29-Nov 5. (Dates given are a ballpark) I will go strictly down the list according to Application Date and Puppy Preference. The squirts are just now beginning to show their personalities and some even have a little sassiness, which I LOVE!

Next Round of Calling Dibs

I currently have a houseful of puppies which means I am constantly cleaning up poop, piddle and puppy mischief. I am also getting up throughout the night to NutraCal and supplement bottle feed the super tiny pups. I am mentioning this, so that you know what is going on behind the scenes. This is why I have not posted in a while, not because I haven’t wanted to, but merely I have a lot going on in my world at the moment. Don’t get me wrong, I love every minute of caring for the little tater bombs, but it doesn’t allow for a lot of sleep or self care. So, if you see me in Walmart with my shirt on backwards and my hair a mess, you know why. Puppies and Dogs ALWAYS take precedence over website. Period. As we get closer to puppy selection, I will do a few posts and give you as much information about each puppy’s temperament, quirks, confirmation, etc. as I can. This will help you make the best decision for the puppy for you. I am sure you will have oodles of questions, I am asking that you either send me an E-mail, a Quick Question or Phone. If it is easier to chat on the phone, the best time to reach me is after the yorkie bombs have gone to bed, so between 7:00-9:00 PM.

Lady Bug’s Litter

Lady Bug’s puppies are doing GREAT! This litter has been a true joy to raise. Usually in a larger litter there is that ONE puppy that stirs the pot and gets everyone else fired up. This is NOT the case with Ms Bug’s babies. Everyone is just as chill and sweet as they can be. I have removed Lady Bug from the whelping box with the puppies. All puppies are now eating 100% big dog food…. well puppy mush big dog food, but you have to start somewhere. Just about everyone has teeth, except for HOCUS (Dutchess); she only has her back teeth, but NONE of her front teeth have erupted through the gums. This doesn’t seem to bother her in the least; she is happy as a clam gumming her food. Lady Bug’s puppies are scheduled for the Vet on OCTOBER 29, 2020. I will post the Vet’s Notes to each puppy’s webpage. This is when I will set up Puppy Pick Up Times.

Say Cheese!

I have the photographer scheduled to come OCTOBER 24, 2020. This will be another ALL day photoshoot, so it may take us a day or two to get the images posted. It is my hope to get new pictures of all of the puppies on that day, but it will honestly depend on how everyone is acting if we can achieve that.

Put Me on the List

Some of you have expressed interest in getting a Southern Yorkies puppy. As of October 13, 2020 at 3:36 PM, I have 64 names on the list. Once I open the list, I will ONLY accept around 15 names, so do not delay. Everyone on the list will be notified at the same time via E-mail. I will be accepting new applications and non-refundable $100.00 deposits around the same time I allow the same some puppies are placed, which is OCTOBER 29-NOVEMBER 5, 2020.

If you are just tuning in the Barking Blog, then please know that ALL of the puppies from Boo, Chicpea, and Cricket are spoken for. BUT, you are in luck because NOODLES, GIBLET, TICKLES, LINDOR, & IGGY are due to whelp in December and I have other Dams that are due to come into heat next month!
