About Southern Yorkies
Southern Yorkies is a small Yorkshire Terrier breeder located in Myrtle Beach, SC. Adults are DNA tested and vet checked for health and breeding. Sires have undergone genetics testing through Animal Genetics to verify colors carried. I have had Yorkshire Terriers in my home for twenty years; I have only been breeding for about twelve. I consider myself a science-based breeder…with heart. Meaning, I hope to improve the Yorkshire Terrier breed through science and biology, first but ALL dogs are pets and part of the family FIRST. I do it for the love of the breed and to have puppies in the house. Parents are on premise. All dogs are kept in my house, actually all over my house. Most of my adult dogs are AKC Registered. In efforts to protect my bloodlines, only CKC Registration is given once proof of sterile surgery is given for each puppy.
I would encourage you to check out my reviews on Google Business or Facebook; I have 4.9 stars. I only breed quality dogs in temperament, structure, markings, and health. I encourage you to verify this for yourself with me or any other Breeder. All puppies have had tails docked and dew claws removed. They have been vet examined and will come to you current on shots and worming. They have been socialized with a variety of animals and been around people from birth. All dogs and puppies are trained to relieve themselves on the Trinkle Turf or outside in a designated area. I also begin to teach basic commands: Come, Retreat, Kennel, etc. Should you have additional questions and/or would like to schedule a time to see the puppies and parents, please do not hesitate to give me a call. Each puppy undergoes the Bio-Sensor Program and the Temperament Test before leaving. You are encouraged to read about each program on the provided pages and links. In addition, upon going to his/her new home, a puppy pack is placed with each dog/puppy to make the transition easier and less traumatic. It is my goal to raise even tempered, well mannered, healthy, well proportioned Yorkies and genuinely try to take the necessary steps to do so. All monies must be paid in Cash.
